Job duties:
Collection and delivery of goods to clients.
Stock validation and tracking.
Store room housekeeping and control.
Small tools and equipment control / maintenance.
Assist in the unloading of goods, use crane if needed.
Check goods received.
Return incorrect items to supplier with goods return note.
Take control of the items in the store.
The correct items are placed on the correct location.
Issue items needed by production on a daily basis as per procedure.
Recording of all items issued on daily issue notes.
Booking of items issued out of the system by means of an inventory journal.
Booking back any item returned to stock/remove item from job allocated to.
Request the completion of a Goods returned note for items returned.
Report any hazard/danger/risk in the store to the supervisor.
Apply the housekeeping rules in the store.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers license
Basic admin skills
Basic Computer skills
Minimum 2 years experience as driver/storeman
