We’re looking for designers with a passion for UX/UI to join our rapidly growing team at the EY Athens Design Lab to help us push the boundaries of design and innovation of services and products.
The opportunity
Our team of Business and Experience Designers are based in the Athens office of EY Greece and are part of our Consulting practice. Together we work on large and complex challenges, using robust frameworks, methods and tools to deliver transformative experiences for our clients, across many sectors (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, government, and more) in Greece and abroad. EY Athens Design Lab is part of EY Design and Engineering, a global network of design studios.
Your key responsibilities
As part of the Athens Design Lab team, you will work alongside business designers, UX/UI designers, strategists, product managers and engineering teams to design innovative user-centred services and products. As part of our team, you will be working across all areas of the design process from research, workshops, ideation, user journeys, flows, prototyping and testing.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
- At least 1-2 years of UX/UI design experience working in consulting, agency or inhouse design team
- A passion for design and a portfolio demonstrating your creativity in digital experiences
- Knowledge of the end-to-end design process (research, personas, concept creation, customer-journeys, user flows, mockups, prototypes, user-testing, visual design deliverables)
- Ability to think creatively and deliver actionable insights based on research
- Excellent technical skills in visual design and prototyping software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc)
- Understanding of the latest technologies and trends in UX/UI designs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Fluency in English (other languages a plus)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in collaborative design workshops
- Conducted user research or user testing
- 3D modelling/animation or illustration skills
- Other creative skills or developed talents
