We are seeking an experienced professional to join the ASP Regional team in the position of Senior Consultant Specialist.
The role holder is responsible for design and developing the most appropriate and secure technology solutions for Australia applications to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement, and providing the end to end technical support to Australia business. The technical support scope included professional impact analysis, project delivery as well as ongoing support.

This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
- Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
- Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
- Monitoring of production systems, ensuring service impacting alerts are routed to the appropriate support teams and delivering services per the Run/Operate Practice and DevOps Model
- Supporting the operation, release and recovery of Technology systems and services in accordance with business/Technology service level agreements in conjunction with te
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related fields
- 8 years' technical skills and experience in software development using Java 1.8+, Spring boot, Spring MVC and Spring Integration, IOC, Security, Postman, IntelliJ, JAVA WEB system with UI technical skill React JS.
- Technical skill with Swing, JQuery, Javascript, Angular JS/Node JS/ Amber JS, React, HTML5/CSS3, J2EE JMS (MQ/Solace), JSP, RMI, Servlets, EJB, REST/SOAP, Web Services, Unix/Linux shell scripting, sh, KSH, XML, XSLT, XSD, JSON, XPath, Oracle SQL PL/SQL, JDBC & Hibernate
- Devops skill with Maven releases, Git/Stash, Jenkins/TeamCity builds, Jira/RTC, Agile, Junit/Mockito/Spock/Gherkin, WebSphere
- Experience in API development, has knowledge in HSBC API development standards
- Experience in cloud technology is a plus
- Experience in managing significant risks and problem resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills experience of working with diverse teams
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, especially proficient in email communication and reporting
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery Excellent problem solving and User support skills
- Willing to travel per project and support need
- Flexibility to work on weekends or late hours
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
