Job Summary
Looking to enter the property industry?As a multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation in property management, our client is looking to a appoint an Operations Manager for a 18,000sm mall in Mpumalanga. Although no prior experience in facilities management is required, you will live within 20km of the centre in Kriel and have a qualification in either plumbing or electrical fields. Combined with at least 10 years' working experience, this role would suit someone who is happy to get their hands dirty but who is also able to utilize internal IT systems to generate orders, & approve payments. Whilst you will be able to call in specialist contractors to assist with technical issues, you must be able to assess each problem as it arises to understand it's root cause, and be hands-on enough to fix smaller issues yourself.
Added to this, you will be a client facing individual who is able to influence and manage the expectations of a wide range of stakeholders - relying on your corporate etiquette to ensure you maintain excellent working relationships both internally and externally.
