Job Description – Calgary Yard Labourer – Summer Position
Summary
In this position, the Calgary Yard Labourer will be responsible for assisting the Calgary Yard Manager with keeping our yard organized, ensuring all containers are clean and in good repair, and helping in other areas of the business as needed. The Calgary Yard Labourer plays a critical role in keeping our Calgary Branch organized and efficient.
This is a full-time term position starting immediately and continuing until the end of September 2023.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Container Maintenance & Repairs
- Ensure containers are clean and ready for delivery (pressure-washing, sweeping, etc.)
- Neutralize used containers. Apply touch up paint to new and used units as needed.
- Apply decals and lockboxes to used containers
- Apply decals to sales and rental containers
- Minor repairs to damaged containers
Yard & Shop Maintenance
- Keep company storage yards tidy, free of garbage, weeds, pests, & well organized
- Ensure yard frontage and signs look good and represent our company well
- Ensure that yard gates and fencing remain intact and in good working order
- Keep company tools and inventory organized and tidy in shop
